Steps: Wedding
1. We meet, either face time, zoom or face-to-face. We chat, I listen to your ideas and thoughts, we get to know each other a little. I answer all your questions and let you know what is involved in getting married, including the legalities. This part is completely obligation free and you do not have to decide on the spot if we are a good fit.
2. You decide if I am the celebrant for you and if so, you complete a booking form and service agreement, pay a deposit to secure my services and your wedding date.
3. You receive my questionnaire and information kit, which includes resources such as poems, ideas for vows, rituals and symbolism, and suggestions for music.
4. We meet again and I learn more about your relationship, your ideas and we discuss your ceremony in more detail. We fill in important paperwork.
5. I write the first draft of your script. This process takes time, I incorporate your ideas for any ritual, tradition, poems, ideas for vows and music into a carefully crafted ceremony that reflects and celebrates your love and relationship.
6. You review the script and have time to make any final tweaks.
7. We catch up approximately two to three weeks before your ceremony to do a double check on everything and cover some final tips. Your balance invoice will be due 6 weeks before your wedding date. A rehearsal is also optional.
8. Wedding Day: I will arrive approximately one hour beforehand, set up my state-of-the-art BOSE sound system and be available to greet and support as the wedding party and loved ones arrive. We then move on to the ceremony at the allocated time and complete all legal paperwork, and then your are married and your celebrations begin!
9. After the ceremony, I complete all legalities in relation to your marriage.
